Title: BCBA
POSITION SUMMARY:
Through a passionate, gracious, and thoughtful approach, Program Supervisors are to supervise Behavior Technicians as they conduct ABA therapy, provide training to Client’s Parents and Behavior Technicians, record and collect data, compose reports, and provide coaching, encouragement and leadership, so that Esperanza Therapy Services can fulfill its calling in providing Hope to families effected by developmental disabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure that Client Program Direct Service hours are maximized.
· Ensure that Client Program Supervision hours are maximized.
· Ensure Billable weekly standard set forth by Supervisor is met.
· Ensure that Clients have all materials to run programming.
· Submit Mileage Report and Time Sheet weekly.
· Ensure Program Compliance by:
o Managing Behavior Technicians to conduct the Client Program as written.
o Achieving Client progress on skills and goals listed in the Program.
o Maintaining up to date data and information in the Client binders.
o Maintaining up to date data and information in the Client Behavior Reduction Plan.
o Weekly auditing of data collection and Time submissions.
o Composing Progress Reports according to the Authorizing Agency's requirements.
o Conducting monthly Parent Trainings.
· Attend all team meetings set by the Clinical Director and Program Director.
· Submission of Clinical Documentation daily.
· Submit DDS Forms at the end of each month.
· Provide training and support to Clinical Staff.
· Conduct audits on Clinical Documentation.
· Review all Clinical Documentation Compliance standards for all authorizing agencies.
· Other duties as assigned by Senior Management or as otherwise directed to fit business needs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Master’s degree in psychology, Special Education, Mental Health, Clinical Rehabilitation, or other related field is required.
· BCBA certification required.
· 2+ years experience in a supervisory role in a related industry or company is desirable.
· 3+ years experience in working with children with developmental disabilities is desirable.
· Must have reliable form of transportation.
· Must be able to pass a DOJ background check.
· Must hold a valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
· Must be able to provide and maintain legally required vehicle insurance.
· Must be willing to travel within assigned counties to visit client family homes on a daily basis.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Proven leadership skills and capabilities.
· Professional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
· Ability to perform visual data analysis.
· Ability to effectively conduct trainings.
· Must be able to write behavior programs and plans.
· Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, crouch, and sit for extended periods of time, utilizing fingers, wrists, hands and vision. On occasion, requires the ability to lift approximately 10 lbs. and travel from location to location as required. Please see the attached ADA Physical Demands list for further details.
