Job Description:
The Center for Rapid Recovery is currently seeking a highly motivated/skilled Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) or CASAC to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health treatment team. The Clinician will conduct individual, group, psychoeducation, assessments, recovery, and relapse prevention or medication management planning for individuals with a diagnosable disorder of addiction.
Responsibilities:
Perform general intake and admission activities for clients accepted for admission into the Substance Use Disorder Program.
Provide clinical assessments, DWI psycho-educational groups, and other alcohol and drug education classes for clients.
Maintain client chart documentation on all clients assigned to their caseloads in accordance with the Division of Behavioral Health standards and approved policies and procedures.
Attend individual and group clinical supervision sessions.
Conduct therapy for selected and referred patients (no more than 5).
Treatment and discharge planning.
Cooperate with governmental regulatory audits.
Preparation of specific psychosocial and social work assessments and summaries.
Clinical support services.
(Bi-lingual a plus)
Eligibility Requirements:
Credentials: LMSW or LCSW or OASAS CASAC-T (CASAC-I or advanced level preferred). Certified Peer Coach Credential are a plus.
Plus: Bilingual (French, Spanish, and Creole)
Good communication skills and clear, succinct writing skills are required for documentation of PPD within one year or evidence indicating the absence of TB.
The incumbent must pass a criminal history background check.
